This weekend's A Taste of the Litchfield Hills festival, in its 27th year, will be held at the Harwinton Fairgrounds Saturday (noon to 8 p.m.) and Sunday (noon to 5 p.m.) The event features sample-size tastings and portions of foods from regional restaurants and vendors, along with wines and draft beer.

Tickets are $8 in advance; $10 on site for adults; $8 in advance or $6 for seniors, and children under 12 are free. Food is priced for separate purchase. Information: litchfieldfestivals.com.
